Jonathon Anderson - CEO
Jonathan Anderson has over 20 years experience in the capital markets specializing in financing and promoting small and mid cap companies, primarily in the natural resource sector. Currently, he is President and CEO of Strategic Resources, Ltd. as well as Purple Fish Capital Management Inc., a private equity firm engaged in financing both private and public companies in North America, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Anderson is a Director of US publicly listed Wescorp Energy, Inc. and was its President and CEO from 2003-2004. He is also an active board member of a gold exploration company as well as an oil exploration company, both of which are listed on North American markets. He has been directly engaged with a number of corporate underwritings on the North American markets.
John C. Spurney - Strategic Consultant
John Spurney lives in Costa Rica where he operates as Consulting Geologist for Strategic Resources. With an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Geology, both from Kent State University, Mr. Spurney brings to the Company a strong research background and decades of experience with the world’s leading mining firms. Within Argentina Mr. Spurney provides state-of-the-industry technical support and lends his expertise in examination, acquisition and exploration.
Past ventures have seen Mr. Spurney conducting exploration all over South and Central America, the United States and Asia, as he worked with world-class companies like Barrick Gold and Brett Resources. His insight to the varied landscapes of South America are invaluable, and his acquisition recommendations have repeatedly produced dramatic yields.
Miguel Francisco Di Nanno - Country Head
Born in Argentina, Miguel Francisco Di Nanno comes to Strategic Resources with a rich and diverse knowledge of the mining industry in the nation. Mr. Di Nanno has researched and developed dozens of mining properties within his home country. With a degree in Ore Dressing from the University of San Juan, he began his diverse career as a researcher in a metallurgical pilot plant. Presently, Mr. Di Nanno serves as President of the mining and development firm Aupa S.A., General Manager of Magallanes S.A., and also as a representative in Argentina for Palladon Ventures Ltd.
Prior to these ventures, Mr. Di Nanno acted as a consultant for multiple mining firms in Argentina, earning him a firm understanding of practice within the nation. Mr. Di Nanno’s other titles have been as diverse as metallurgist, flotation plant manager, and senior engineer. Often serving as government contact, Mr. Di Nanno has vast experience with governing bodies and legislation around mining in Argentina
